Isn't it just beyond emotion and beauty that "paaaaaaiiin" he sings in Travelin' thru? Can't believe the intensity of Jason's emotion! Really!
I was mentioning this about Jason's voice because sometimes I feel really upset about that "strength" people wants from it... Jason's voice has a strength in its own.
The "strong voice" factor is something I really don't get. Being an artist, in some definitions is "one who professes and practices an imaginative art ", so Jason uses his voice and touch us (we, who love his voice), he uses his voice to communicate through singing, he uses his tenderness and other qualities to transform a song into something more deep... he creates atmospheres with his voice, he is an artist. His style maybe is not about filling his lungs with a huge amount of air and explote in a long note... 'cause those are another styles, it all is a matter of taste and emotivity, and I love Jason's voice the way it is.
